rant mode on.
thing i posted in huntard subforum :
Hunters -
Talent: Combat Experience
Ability: Increases your total agility, stamina, intellect by 6%
www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-hunter/talents.html
Rogues -
Talent: Vitality
Ability: Increases your total stamina by 4%
www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-rogue/talents.html
Same level tier on the talent tree.
Rogues Combat:
Vitality (2/2) +4% stamina (yay, 100 health...)
Nerves of Steel (2/2) 10% chance to resist stun/fear (10% chance to die horribly in a raid)
Blade Twisting (5/5) 25% chance for SS/BS/Hemo to daze target (sure wish we used daze for something)
Surprise Attacks (1/1) SS/BS/Hemo/Gouge cant be dodged and do 5% more damage.
Hunter Marksman:
Combat Experience (2/2) +6% to Agility, Stamina, and Intellect
Careful Aim (3/3) adds 45% of your intellect to ranged attack power
Improved Barrage (3/3) +15% chance to crit on Multishot, 100% chance to avoid interruption while channeling Volley
Master Marksman (5/5) +10% ranged attack power
Silencing Shot (1/1) Instant, 20 sec cooldown, deals 75% weapon damage and silences the target for 3 seconds.
misdirection makes me cry. hard. rogues were begging for ability like that since release, to get some group utility.
traps now usable in combat, wyvern sting (sleep) usable in combat ... i want to be able to sap in combat !
its a joke right ?
it better freaking be ...
edit : sorry for hijacking teh thread, but i seriously needed to vent after reading this. dont mind me.
i was playing rogue since i started playing this game. i love this class, i always did, despite all the nerfs, obvious bugs beign ignored by devs, crappy review, useless tbc talent preview, fecked up itemisation, no group utility, cooldown dependancy and all other stuff. but now i seriously wonder why do i even bother anymore.
when i see other classes tbc talents, and compare them to rogue ones, i can't help but uncontrollibly laugh (the sort of laugh you do when you've collapsed in a marathon because your legs froze up and feel like they're on fire).
it's just simply pathetic when main dps class, which sole purpose is dealing damage, is not getting a single bloody buff to our only raid role.
what about pvp ? sta cost on items is getting halved in tbc. that means longer fights. that means, all other classes will get to use their short cds (like frost nova, 30 sec cd) more - while we still will have to rely on 5 minute cooldowns to counter them ! abilities on 5 minute cooldowns to counter 30 sec ones ! and now they'll get to use them more then once / fight. somehow i doubt ill get to use my vanish or blind twice in 1v1 fight. and, of course, there is that new ability, resilience, lowering your chance to be struck by critical hit, and lowering damage dealt with crits.
where are my dps talents blizzard ? why did you give them to hunters ? why the skill we were begging for since forever (misdirection) was given to hunters ? why do we always have those risky unfinished percentile talents ? like sap, initiative, setup, cloak of shadows, and now vanish and blind ? Why do we barely get any attack power? why shouldn't we NOT gain 2 agility per attack power? why is stealth detection getting easier and easier? why is vanish still broken, after ... after freaking 3 patches ?
there's just so many questions, but never any answers.
someone may ask why i play this game. i sure as hell dont play it, and pay for it, to feel gimped. and thats exactly how i feel just by looking at tbc talents.
rant mode off.
point of the thread ? other than my whiny ranting that is ... there is none. you're welcome to post your thoughts about the case or just some random flame posts if you like tho. just spare me l2p-talk please.
