A Hunter can be responsible in carrying out a clean pull, which can mean the difference between success and failure against the MC bosses.
As such, I have explained the tactics we have found to be successful by Boss:
First, All hunters should join the channel Whacohunters
LUCIFRON
3 hunters (H1, H2, H3)
Macros:H1 must have a macro attached to Aimed Shot saying in Whacohunters when it is being fired.
H1 Targets Lucifron
H2 Marks and targets a guard
H3 targets the unmarked guard
All hunters do a ready check, testing to ensure their position is in range, their targets aquired, and are ready to shoot on the next pass.
H1 Announces to /ra that hunters are in position and ready, awaiting for the go ahead from raid leader.
The Pull:
H1 fires Aimed Shot (told in Fallenhunters)
H2 and H3 fire their aimed shots as soon as they see the tell from H1
H2 and H3 run towards the back of the cave.
H1 runs to Luci Tanking spot.
At this point the Tanks will be stealing Aggro back.
MAGMADAR
Macros: All Hunter's with Tranq shot should have the following Macros set up:
1) Firing Tranq Shot Now (with the shot attached)
2) Shot - Success Hold Fire!
3) Shot - MISSED Shoot now!
4) Ready. Taking Next Shot!
5) No Shot Possible... Aborting Shot!
Preferably we will have three hunters with Tranq shot, though occasionally we may only have two. Both scenarios are drawn out below:
In every case, one hunter must be assigned to go first.
The hunters can join in the dps but must only use Autoshot. If they use a spell shot like Arcane for example, the 5 second global cooldown will affect the ability of firing the tranq shot quickly.
TRANQ SHOTS x2 (H1 and H2)
H1 Fires (with tell)
If Success: H1 presses Success macro, upon which H2 presses Ready Macro and fires at next frenzy (with tell). The hunters alternate and repeat until victory.
If Missed: H1 presses Missed macro, upon which H2 fires immediately. H1 awaits cooldown to complete, presses Ready macro, and fires at next frenzy. Process back on track.
If for any reason (feared, burning, range, etc) a hunter cant make the shot, the Abort macro is press and the roles alternate, with the other hunter firing next.
TRANQ SHOTS x3 (H1, H2 and H3)
Very similar to having two shots, but with the luxury of a back up (H3)
H1 Fires (with tell)
If Success: H1 presses Success macro, upon which H2 presses Ready Macro and fires at next frenzy (with tell). The hunters alternate and repeat until victory.
If Missed/Aborted: If Missed or Aborted macros are pressed, H3 fires the back up shot.
TRANQ SHOTS x 3+
If we find ourselves with more than 3 hunters with tranq shot, we will adopt the tactics above for 'x3', and the extra tran shot will be an extra back up.

Fight Back Through
We have decided to fight back through the caves after Maggy, rather than wipe and start again. To do this safely, hunters can play another important role.
IMPS - To pull the imps is relatively simple. Start tracking elementals close to cave entrance. you will find that there are 2 surgers that occasionally patrol to the imps. Use the tracking to time a shot at the imps, such that you dont pull the Surgers as well.
2 Surgers: The next two surgers can be pulled by the MT with ease.
3rd Surger, Annihilator, Molten hound: Using Eye of Beast, a hunter can send its pet in for these one at a time. Stay close to the walls away from imps and use stealth if you have it. Attack the target and run back to the group. Even if your pet dies, the targets will come for you.
Note: As the imps may respawn, it is necessary that the hunter doing these pulls stands down the slope a bit, away from the main raid. This way, should the imps get aggoed, they will come through cave and straight for the hunter, giving time for the Tanks to take over and keeping the raid safe.
GEHENNAS
2 hunters (H1, H2)
Macros: None. The MT will have a Macro stating when he is about to charge.
H1 Marks and Targets one Guard
H2 Targets unmarked Guard
The Pull:
Both Hunters aquire range and targets, announcing in /ra, awaiting the go ahead from MT
MT will announce in /ra that he is charging Gehennas
H1 and H2 fire their Arcane shots and their Distracting Shots.
The Guards are pulled to the location specified by the raid leader, where the Tanks will take aggro.
Tip:
The stun can cause problems for us. Insignia of the horde and free action potion can help avoid the stuns.
When fighting Gehennas, Hunters at max range willl avoid the AoE and will sustain very little damage. Try to acquire the max range, cos the healers will heal us last, if at all.
GARR
Not Hunter Pull - Just follow Raid Leader's Orders on dps and targets.
BARON GEDDON
1 Hunter: H1 + Pet
(After the group has taken out the lava packs, have a look at Geddons route. He patrols in roughly 45 second cycles.)
Stand at MT spot. When given the go ahead, use eye of the Beast and use pet to fetch Geddon. Stand your pet at the point of Geddons route, closet to the cave and wait for him to pass. Bite him and allow your pet to die. I know its mean, but if your pet returns to help fight, there is too great a chance of it becoming the bomb.
Having killed your pet, Geddon will come after you.
SHAZZRAH
1 Hunter: H1 + Pet
After killing Geddon in Garr's cave, the raid will do loot, rebuff and be ready for Shazzrah by forming a big circle.
A hunter should stand in the middle with the mT and use Eye of Beast to go fetch Shazzrah. Stay with the MT until he has aggro, then run to join the circle.
(if you get aggro, feign or move towards the MT spot again)
SULFURON
4 hunters (H1, H2, H3, H4)
Macros: None. The MT will have a Macro stating when he is about to charge.
The raid leader will assign guards to each off tank. Hunters will assist the offtanks in the hunter order given by the hunter leader. Once you have assisted your tank, move position to stand directly in front of the add, making note of where you are pulling to.
The Pull:
All Hunters aquire range and targets, announcing in /ra, awaiting the go ahead from MT
MT will announce in /ra that he is charging Sulfuron
All hunters fire their Arcane shots and their Distracting Shots.
The Guards are pulled to the location specified by the raid leader, where the Tanks will take aggro.
GOLEMAGG
2 hunters (H1, H2)
Macros: None. The MT will have a Macro stating when he is about to charge.
H1 Marks and Targets one puppy
H2 Targets unmarked puppy
The Pull:
All Hunters aquire range and targets, announcing in /ra, awaiting the go ahead from MT
MT will announce in /ra that he is charging Golemagg
The hunters fire their Arcane shots and their Distracting Shots.
The Puppies are pulled to the location specified by the raid leader, where the Tanks will take aggro.
Move back to a good dps location for Golemagg.
