The speed at which we get ready to rumble on the raggie fight is just not good enough currently, which I'm sure we can all agree. The thing that takes so much time, is people getting their possitions right. There are 2 things to observe.
1) Do I have range to do what I am assigned to do in the fight.
2) Am I far enough from the people around me to not knock them back.
Both are insanely important to the success of the fight, which is why you have me yapping endlessly at ya'll for far too long at this point. But, here is a suggestion to how we speed this up some:
Rather than running to our usual spot to buff up, get pots and oils, etc, we stay on the last bit of the ramp leading up to the raggie room to do that, meaning noone is initially standing "inside at all. As the first, all healers except ranged healers run and get possitions as soon as they have buffs, oils and orders. The 2 MTs should go to spots too. When they are in place, warlocks are next to find good spots where they have range, followed by mages, then hunters, then ranged healers. Finally, melee dps get in place.
Once you are in place, you cannot move. If you do, the next people trying to get possitions wont know your spot and might take one themselves that compromise yours and then we have that chain reaction that takes aaaaages to fix.
If we all get the things we need fast and keep our heads together a bit doing this, we should be ready to rock a LOT faster than we currently are.
Currently, we always have some that "forgot to get a healthstone" or "have a buff running out" or the like, who run around confusing us all (or just me). For that reason, I'd suggest that the moment we enter the ramp leading up to Raggie, we do a mental checklist and get those things out of the way asap.
Do I have buffs, fire pots, healthstones, etc?
Do I need to make/distribute the above?
Let's try it?
