Do hunters still need agility??

Now that I am 70 its time to start looking at the formulas to see how to get that bit more dps and crit, since I started lvling after tbc my crit% did nothing more apart from going down, I started with 30% crit at lvl 60 only to find my self with 19% at lvl 70, when we got the nerf that 1agi is no longer 2 atp i got the question if agi is still that important for us.

Now at lvl 70 we get the following
46 agi = 46atp and 1% crit

So my question is seeing that there are many items that give 25c ritical strike rating, and 50 atp do you think that its is best to get an items that gives agility any way??

Belf, I think at this stage you need to just take the upgrades as they come, taking into account all the caluclations and your style of play.. The hunter sets you will eventually be going for have a decent amount of agi and crit and ap all thrown in.. until then just grab the items that give you the best dps/survival that you need.

eg. get the scope on you bow that gives +24 to crit

I currently have some rogue-like pieces that I wear when all I am doing is dps with no need for me to have armour..then I have other pieces that nerfs me a bit in dps but throws my health up o around 10k with buffs with decent armour..

Do we need agility... Yes. But as you say, choosing items is not so easy now that agi doesnt mean as much.. we have to take into account all the other bits the item may offer as well.

Agi is good.. its just no longer THE deciding factor

It's so sad to see you labouring under the misapprehension that hunter items exist at all. As you should know Belf, the question is irrelevant seeing as you should be ninjaing all the other classes items anyway. Read the hunter's handbook!
