Hunters rejoice! The new talents are up!
By a quick glance, every tree seems to have a valid reson to pick for PvE damage. Serpent's swiftness seems a tad imba?

Marksman hunter will do way more ranged damage than BM anyway, Serpent's swiftness won't really change that.

Hunters - Talent: Combat Experience Ability: Increases your total agility, stamina, intellect by 6% www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-hunter/talents.htmlRogues - Talent: Vitality Ability: Increases your total stamina by 4% www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-rogue/talents.html Same level tier on the talent tree. Rogues Combat: Vitality (2/2) +4% stamina (yay, 100 health...) Nerves of Steel (2/2) 10% chance to resist stun/fear (10% chance to die horribly in a raid) Blade Twisting (5/5) 25% chance for SS/BS/Hemo to daze target (sure wish we used daze for something) Surprise Attacks (1/1) SS/BS/Hemo/Gouge cant be dodged and do 5% more damage. Hunter Marksman: Combat Experience (2/2) +6% to Agility, Stamina, and Intellect Careful Aim (3/3) adds 45% of your intellect to ranged attack power Improved Barrage (3/3) +15% chance to crit on Multishot, 100% chance to avoid interruption while channeling Volley Master Marksman (5/5) +10% ranged attack power Silencing Shot (1/1) Instant, 20 sec cooldown, deals 75% weapon damage and silences the target for 3 seconds. misdirection makes me cry. hard. rogues were begging for ability like that since release, to get some group utility. traps now usable in combat, wyvern sting (sleep) usable in combat ... i want to be able to sap in combat ! its a joke right ? it better freaking be ... edit : sorry for hijacking teh thread, but i seriously needed to vent after reading this. dont mind me.

about sap ? or about sting and traps ?
hunter stuff was comfirmed by blue on us boards, in combat sap is not going to happen. i dont know why it would be so much more overpowered than in combat trapping, but hey ...

Am thinking of doing 0/44/15 atm, though am sure this will change and get tweaked a little once out and I see what hunters role in raids will be..
This essentially give melee and range dps a large boost in raids...

Silencing Shot (1/1) Instant, 20 sec cooldown, deals 75% weapon damage and silences the target for 3 seconds. I find it incredibly silly that this is a 41 points talent, in Marksmanship no less - from a PVE point of view. Imo it should be a trainable skill, or at least way easier to get.. or give it to Beastmaster! *ducks the rotten tomatoes* Wyvern Sting You seem to ignore that it is a 12 second dot when the target wakes up, meaning you can't resleep the same target (or use any other form of crowd control on it). It's not equal to sap, it's equal to a one-time sheep, and people don't complain that this works in combat? I think it fits pretty well into the whole hunter idea of short but efficient crowd control. The Marksmanship tree is so boring.. 'increase damage.. increase damage some more.. increase critical strike damage.. increase damage of everyone on everything!' yawn nerf Marksmanship.
