Disclaimer: Haven't used this for real. Need testing, but I post it in here anyways for easy reference.
For those nasty times at Moroes:
/clearfocus [modifier:shift] /clearfocus [target=focus,dead] /clearfocus [target=focus,noexists] /focus [target=focus,noexists] /script SetRaidTarget("focus", 1) /cast [target=focus] Shackle Undead
Target the mob you want to be shackled and activate the macro. Now you can freely target everything else and reshackle your shackled mob with a push of a button.
Activate the macro for clearing the focus after the mob is killed. If you need to change your target shackle during a combat, push shift while activating the macro.

That's the one I'm using and it's working beautifully. Only modification for it is this line instead of the "shift modifier": /clearfocus [button:2] (right-clicking clears your focus and selects another one) In action it looks like this: I target the mob before combat and it gains a glow around the portrait signaling it's now my focus. Keep spamming the macro to reshackle. If the target is dead and something else needs to be shackled, just select something else and click on the macro. If you have to shackle something else before your first target is dead, just re-target and right click on the macro. Everything works with only one click . You don't need to click it again when your target is dead since /clearfocus [target=focus, dead] or /clearfocus [target=focus, noexists] will clear it automatically. Same macro could be modifed for polymorphing.

the setraidtarget line is mote unless you are promoted or raid/group leader, in that case it puts a star over the targets head. Rarely desirable during our raids.
