1k ap + Deadliness = 1100 + BoK (10% - might be wrong here) = 1210 + BoM (185) = 1395 ..going further + Battle Shout (232) = 1627 + Earthstrike (280) = 1907 ... long way to 2k from initial buffs .. and that's assuming you have 1k AP to start with And of course you can get higher with consumables. So there you have it - deadliness is great assuming you already have loads of AP. So no Guava, it will not 'own', it'll just help. A bit.

its deep in subtelty, which is pvp tree you can get about 800 - 9xx ap with decent gear, without gimping yourself in terms of sta / hit / crit 1000-1100 with high end gear is doable, but for the cost of other stats ( not counting naxx stuff here, but honestly how many rogues can get it ? right ... ) now all that math above is more or less true assuming you're full raid buffed. how often in pvp you have full raid buff on you ? and if you're going to spec 30 pts in subtelty to raid ... well deadliness wont help you much in chasing combat rogues on dmg meters edit : btw, found sth here : forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-rogue&t=1321744&p=1&tmp=1#post1321744reworked talent tree, and some changes to rogue class, interesting at least. there's only one problem - it makes too much sense and thus no chance for it for even be considered by devs

I agree Mard, was just trying to show that Deadliness will not 'own' As to the link, didn't i put it here? Oo... anyway, it's only one version of the talent trees floating around, but it seems to best reflect the desires of rogue community (in terms of talent layout at least) Edit: added a missing word

1000 ap + 185 = 1185 (BoM)
1185 / 100 * 10 + 1185 = 1303,5 (BoK)
1303,5 / 100 * 10 + 1393.5 = 1433,85 (D)
add a warrior shout in the midden eaven closer but okey i agree 2 was a bit to far >.< but what about thos AP freeks who have like 1,3 ap unbuffed >.<

Right, let's check out some builds. the old combat daggers (16/25/10) got a nice boost and can now be easily made into 17 / 29 / 5 and look like this: www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogues2/talents.html?305300105000000005355010005010022005000000000000000(with possible variations here and there) With Serrated Blades Hemo builds are even stronger now, that's a good thing. 24/3/24 and 17/3/31 (be it hemo/premed or hemo/deadliness) remain a great choice for pvp (if not the best). Seal Fate/Vigor remains almost unchanged (opportunity moved to tier 1) - 31 / 8 / 12 Overall, even more good changes served I'll risk saying that if the tree were left as they are they'd be pretty solid. The only issue is the placement of imp backstab, but I don't think they'll move it due to balance issues. (still hoping though )

This is my provisional combat swords build www.wowhead.com/?talent=jheboxZMhEz0VzxroTo be honest I can't see that much scope for varying this, the only thing I wondered about was one point in Murder vs Agression. The only thing I've dropped from my current build is a couple of points in improved SnD which I can live without, so although I think its a pretty good review its not exactly earth-shattering for me.
