Ukko, its a heal in Shadowform... I think thats kinda kickass >.> I wouldn't mind getting a heal in the end of my tree's Also, its probably just rank 1, rank 2 or 3 should add 2-300 more healing in that.

we just have to see if that stacks with +heal or +dmg/heal in 1:1 ratio like GH or heal. if it does then will be great to have for example +300 on heal, +300 on dmg and shadow form then heals will be great and you save mana from not going out of shadow and in to shadow again.

I was just trying to point out that Shadow Mend has been changed to instant cast in the latest alpha patch, which is ridiculous on so many levels.

They should just make it say "Heal yourself for x" you know thats all its going to be used for by 99% of shadowpriests "Heal plx" " Oh so sorry mate I didn't take the 41 point talent"

Uhhhhhhhhhh, the new revised talents (4th october) just made me to eminate a warm and embarassingly good feeling in the vicinity of my bowel. The 41 point shadow looks extremely promising, especially if you dump the poor shadowpriest in the healer group.

They also changed the pet spell.
I want the same guy who designs shadow priests to take a look at balance druids.

Hmmm, think about a DPS group made of 5 shadowpriests. If every priest makes a moderate 500DPS, it'll be 125mana per sec to each party member.
A selfsustaining DPS group which will never run oom? Toss up a VE every now and then while in that group, and you'll have essentially a group, that you don't have to heal, or waste any mana.
Speculating with these talents is so nice :]

I can't believe VT will make it into TBC in that form - You could just have a raid of 2 warriors, 23 shadowpriests and your most powerfull enemy would be the debuff limit (or I guess something with lots of shadow res ofc - although even then - there's no holy resistance )
One problem I can foresee with healing in TBC is that they are making the off-specs so much more interesting than the healing specs (at least with shaman and priest) I don't know that anyone will want to take the healing spec.

They had to do something to the healing in this game tho. At the moment, no other classes suffer from such a high playerbase disappearence than healers. If they give the healers a valid non-healing off spec, the devs can "lure" healers to keep playing the game instead of rerolling to a different class. If the healing tree upgrades are kept moderate at the same time, they're not even needed from the healers to be an effective healer in the end-game enviroment and you still have a playerbase that is willing to heal at least to some extent.
There's a small hint from the devs, that they're trying to shift the current reactive healing more towards preactive healing. Having spells like prayer of mending and changing the HoTs to stack coupled with doubling the effective amount of stamina are a sure hint in that direction. I wouldn't mind at all if the whole healing business would end to be completely covered by HoTs, prayer of mending and VE type spells. No more stressing with reactive healing and that can't be all bad, can it?

Dunno if this is relevant but you DO know that in TBC the debuff limit becomes 40 right?

23 shadowpriests: 1 VE each, 1 MF each, 1 SW:P each, 1 VT each = 92 debuffs taken
