Cyclone looks very d**n powerful, and Maim is awesome too. Lacerate is useless in it's current form, and that new hot feels pretty weak.
Balance tree is still useless. Meleekin just doesn't work(autoattack ftw), 41-point talent is silly and there still is no way to stop your spells from getting delayed by damage. Oh, and imp FF is the weakest of the debuffs that increase raid dps that have been given to "off-specced"characters.
Feral changes are pretty good. I'm not sure if imp LotP is worth it, except very situationally. Mangle in cat does pretty good damage, it's just too bad that they didn't do anything to cat dps scaling. There are also way too many talents in feral tree now, even if you go 11/50 you can't get everything.
There's nothing surprising in resto, aside from the 41 pt talent. It's way too situational for my taste. You can't really heal in 5-mans without HT, you can't use it in pvp because of the snare, and you can't use it in any raid encounter that requires moving. For a 41 point talent, you'd really expect less disadvantages in using it.
Summary: nice changes, but droods will still heal in pve.

Oh, and here is the build that I've been planning for myself, after I get tired of full feral. I was thinking about 1/39/21 too, but those 10 more points in feral don't offer that much when compared to swiftmend.

Yeah, the balance changes are pretty dull. Most of the talents just increase damage or mana regen, nothing useful to help with survivability or spell interrupts. The melee aspects of moonkin are also odd... If you're in melee with something, your starfires are going to take around 8 seconds per cast if you're being hit...
Imp LotP looks pretty bad (the warrior's Blood Craze talent heals for more than this, and is terrible!). Although, blizzard are changing itemisation so that stamina is cheaper on items (so there will be less one/two-shotting people, and longer fights). So if everyone can actually absorb a whole bunch of crits thanks to their stamina, this might be marginally better.
Tree form doesn't have any extra armour either... Feathers > Wood in resilience it seems!
Edit: Eep! I need to learn2read! Imp LotP triggers whenever you crit, not when you're crit. Looks a bit nicer then.

Note that it activates by critting with your own attack, not by getting critted like blood craze.

Yeah... not as bad then. Assume rogues are going to crit at least once per 6 seconds, so it's a constant (but slow) HOT on them. Wonder if it stacks though... 5 feral druids in one group getting 10% of health every 6 seconds would be nice Or having 3 rogues, 1 shadow priest with VE, and one feral druid might be nice. No idea what I'll spec yet, will depend what content there is. If there's lot of solo/small group content to start with, I'll probably go full feral. If there are lots of bigger raids that need it, and the itemisation supports it, I'd probably do balance/resto, or resto/balance for a change of scene.

So, apparently flight form is only going to be useful from 68 to 69. Bah.

Nah, I still haven't got a mount, so cat form has saved me money Improved LotP has been updated too. It now heals 2%/4%/6% of that person's health everytime they crit instead of just 2%.

New changes:
Feral Combat
* Feral Instinct - Reduced to 3 ranks, 5/10/15%. * Thick Hide - Reduced to 3 ranks, 4/7/10%. * Nurturing Instinct - Reduced to 2 ranks, 50/100%. * Survival of the Fittest - Reduced to 3 ranks, same 1/2/3% improvements.
Balance * (NEW) Focused Starlight - “Increases the critical strike chance of your Wrath and Starfire spells by 2/4%. * Improved Thorns - Renamed "Brambles", now increases damage from Entangling Roots as well. * Omen of Clarity - Swapped with Insect Swarm, prerequisite from Natural Weapons removed. * Improved Wrath - Renamed "Starlight Wrath", reduces cast time of Wrath and Starfire by .1/.2/.3/.4/.5 sec. * Improved Starfire - Reduced to 3 ranks, no longer reduces cast time of Starfire, just has the 5/10/15% stun chance. * Natural Shapeshifter - Moved to Restoration tree, where Improved Enrage was.
Restoration * Improved Healing Touch - Renamed "Naturalist", in addition to the cast time reduction of Healing Touch it also increases all physical damage by 2/4/6/8/10%. Essentially, we folded Natural Weapons into it. * Natural Weapons - Removed. * Improved Enrage - Removed. * Reflection - Renamed "Intensity", mana regen in combat as it did in addition to causing Enrage ability to instantly generate 4/7/10 rage. * Natural Perfection - Changed to "Your critical strike chance with all spells is increased by 1/2/3% and melee and ranged critical strikes against you cause 4/7/10% less damage."
Very interesting stuff. Now you can actually have a decent balance build with only 40 points, and 0/30/31 type of build just became much more powerful. I'm not done whining tho.
