The new Shaman looks hawt !
It looks like blizzard came through and gave the shaman what they really wanted - some d**n nice offensive capabilities and offensive buffing options, including bloodlust and even pets !
For melee a shaman in the party is going to be spectacular - the exact figures will depend on what the new ranks of totems do, and whether your talking about rogues or warriors, but with strength of earth and grace of air up, together with procs from unleashed rage your probably talking > +400 attack power and +4-5% crit all the time and +35% attack speed one minuit out of 10. Unleashed rage looks very fun and it will be interesting to see if it can be kept up constantly with either a slow two hander or the new dual-wield option, maybe with the help of a build that includes convection, reverberation and elemental devastation. I'm pretty sure wielding a fast dagger one-handed with windfury on, it will be up the whole time. Finally there's some decent caster buffs too, although they still pale in comparison to the melee side of things. Lightning overload and unrelenting storm make elemental shamans look better and better. The resto tree looks more boring than ever - now who could have predicted that? I doubt there will be too many will complaints about that anyway.

It's a trick! He tries to be an example for us DPS healers so that we would start to feel bad and spec for full healbotting.
Failing miserably I tell ya.

Your 51 points in healing doesn't do any good when you're sleeping with the daisies on the ground dead.

Does Earth Shock count as a healing spell?

Looks like the dual wield specc works kinda good for dps atleast. on the fight agains flamegore did i end as nr 11 on dps list with 171k dmg even tho I died when he was att ~40%. i was at about 60% mana att the time so should have been able to keep up the dps in the same speed for the rest of the fight. Lets say that we nuke harder so the last % goes faster and i only have had time to do another 50k dmg (very low compared to the dmg on the first 60%) would i end at 221k dmg and a 5th place in dmg list... after 4 rogues. This is with a healing hammer in MH. the only problem is that it does huge amounts of threat already with frost shocks so thers no space for the high dmg version earth shock. Will be even more fun to test this next week when i hopfully got a HW axe in MH too the same is for pve where it gives very high burst dmg, SS+ ES and often some WF hits/crits removes from half to all the hp of a mage/priest´. the only weak part with dual wield in pvp is hunter (everyone is weak to them...) and things with plate Dual wield <3
