Creates a holy Lightwell near the priest that lasts for 2 min. Friendly targets can click the Lightwell to restore 1600 health over 10 sec. Being attacked cancels the effect.

Shadow talents are disgustingly overpowered as usual.

Quiet Contemplation + Dark power ftw for a PvE raiding shadowpriest? If QC stacks with meditation, we have a killer.

The talents addresses some of the priestly complaints for PvE. It's nice that they added the talent to decrese the poor scaling of MF, but one has to think: Did the developers run out of talents to implement, since instead of fixing the cause, they fixed the problem.

Holy 41 point talent looks rather nice, especially if it stacks from multiple priests. Think about 4 priests in the same group with the meatshield? If it doesn't stack, it's yet another "good thinking, poor impletemted" talent we've so acustomed to see from Blizzard. I have a hunch, that even with the improvements to the loghtwell, it doesn't get to see much light in its days. Improved Flash heal comes only about 1,5 year too late, but it's nice. Steely resolve looks nice on paper, but I have a strong feeling, that the buggers nerfed it the way how they calculate the crit chance (if it's calculated like inner focus +crit chance increase, the new talent will suck). All in all, I'm pretty amazed, since the holy talents seem to be rather nice.

Discipline tree went back to PvP, which it was designed to be in the first place. Looks like we're still almost pertained to use it in our holy / shadow trees for raiding.

Just curious, how useful do you find this talent? Warriors have something like it, but I used to have it and never ever saw it have any effect, so I ditched it at some point.

PvE-wise, it's a pure filler talent. There are no bosses that polymorphs you (at least I'm not aware of that kind of a boss) , and the few trashmobs that polymorphs people are getting their behinds whooped in notime.

Its a serious bitchtalent against mages though... the main way to beat a priest is to sheep, Frostbolt shield away, resheep, and start nuking...
Thats already dangerous if we get a silence smacked back in the middle... would be horrid if there was an encreased 15% chance for poly to fail >.<

Divine spirit boost looks nice, but overall a slight disappointment. A 15% mana cost reduction to MF looks promising. I need to crunch through the numbers in my new self coded FSR/damage/mana cost/regen calculator

well i finally found build which is better for pvping than shadow and now they boosting shadow into immoratality ;(

The talents are dull but some of the new abilities look at least usefull - mass dispell and a heal that heals you and your target together. The thing with summoning shades is a bit gimmicky but at least something different.
I'd say they kept the spirit of the holy tree ok - ie boring heal, heal, more heal... the discipline tree has kinda lost its way, with nothing above tier 5 doing anything for mana regen, and the new bits of the shadow tree are a whole bunch of meh - I mean of course "behold the ultimate forbidden power of the shadow.... a healing spell" - yes I know thats gonna rock in pvp but its not quite what anyone was hoping for I reckon. Focused mind is good tho.
The fake ones were better.

Edit - was just looking at some builds - with 40/0/21 you could add debuffs to a target that increase shadow damage by 20% (possibly 25% if misery stacks and you use holy fire and SW:P, ??even 30% with devouring plague) and all other spell damage by 10% (or 15% if misery stacks)
